For Chi: The Third
I've only written two before, making this poem my third
I've never liked the number three, its always seemed absurd
This poem may not make sense at all, but at least it rhymes
Anyway I write this to say, that we have had great times
I can't remember when we met, but I do know this
Before we spoke about the world, my thoughts were all amiss
You taught me things about your home, and I told you of mine
Like how you cannot own a gun, or else you'll get a fine
We shared our art, we shared our dreams, and we shared in between
Together the two of us learned, how little of our world we've seen
You and I have held what must be the longest th
